AuPaired matches families with educated, American au pairs.

“After our third child was born, I realized our family needed an extra pair of hands.”

About AuPaired
AuPaired helps New York families find what so few have been lucky to find— dependable and affordable live-in childcare. After understanding exactly what your needs are, we seek out qualified candidates specifically for your family. Unlike many agencies, all of the au pairs I place are U.S. Citizens. There are plenty of agencies that place au pairs.
Our Expertise lies in the match making.
Who We Are
and how we put your family first

Rachel Kuchinad
Director of Consulting
I'm Rachel Kuchinad, founder of AuPaired, and now Director of Consulting for the company. Over the past decade, I have found and hired 10 au pairs for my own family, including Kathryn, so I know where to look and how to determine who will be a perfect fit for a family. As Director of Consulting, my job is to not only coach you through the initial decision to hire an au pair but also to advise you and your family throughout the transition. I advise New York friends and family, because I enjoy seeing great people working together to raise the next generation through AuPaired.

Kathryn Frederick
Director of Placement
I'm Kathryn Frederick, former au pair of Rachel Kuchinad, and now Director of Placement of AuPaired. Moving to New York City to become an au pair was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Since then, I've been informally recruiting others to do the same. As Director of Placement, I am responsible for finding an au pair that fits seamlessly within your family. Through rigorous research, background checks, recruiting, and interviewing, I hope to bring others the joy of having the kind of partnership that I now have with the Kuchinads.
